ABOUT BOTLHALE SCHOOL

IMG_2798.JPG
Welcome to the Botlhale Cambridge International School website, we hope it will offer you an insight into how the school runs and what we can offer the learner.

Botlhale aims to offer quality education from Pre-Primary (3.5 years old) through Primary School (Standard 1-7) and up to Form 5 in the Secondary School, where Form 5 students sit for the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (I.G.C.S.E).

There is a focus on academic work throughout the school, but we also strongly believe that an overall rounded education is important for the development of the child. So, as well as strong acadmeic focus, we also make sure that students take part in Sports, Drama and Music.

Each child in the school takes part in P.E. lessons and the school competes with other schools in Football, Netball, Softball, Swimming, Basketball, Athletics, Cross Country and Chess.

At least once a year, each student has to take part in a class assembly which is presented to the rest of the school in the hall. The students also present an end of year performance to the parents and school. This performance alternates between Primary and Secondary school, with the Secondary students presenting Shakespere's Romeo and Juliet last year.

The school choir and marimba band regularly take part in music festivals and are often asked to perfom at local events.

Our aim is to develop each child's individual and unique talents and we work closely with Parents to help produce responsible citizens and leaders of the future.

Botlhale is a happy and caring school where students look forward to coming to school everyday.

Thank you for taking the time to find out about us.
